Student Version

If you want to be able to live without being tied to the Olin license server, you can download the Student Edition. It is essentially the same as the regular version, but with a 6 month license, and Windows-only binaries.

Full (licensed) Version

This, like all network software, only works on the Olin network.

1. Download from above site
2. Run installer and select Full Version

3. After you install, run Modelsim, and the license server is 1717@STUAPP, or even better, 1717@STUAPP.olin.edu

You may also try the Linux version, found in the same place as above. Read the INSTALL_NOTES.txt first!
