Andy Barry is a student at Olin College where he is studying electrical and computer engineering. This active stereo project was his final project for his computer architecture class. He especially enjoyed learning OpenCV and adding USB support to the PIC.
Dan Barry built the original laser scanner that became the USB controlled one that is currently used. His incredible ability to have exactly what I needed at exactly the right time (who has a PIC controlled laser scanner sitting around on a desk?!) was invaluable. His help with OpenCV was also amazing.
Mark Chang teaches computer architecture at Olin. I'd like to thank him for a great class and for believing that this has something to do with computer architecture.
Finally I'd like to thank the folks at wxWidgets, OpenCV, and libusb for all their hard work. None of this would have been possible without them.
